- Ingredients:
- 4-1lb Venison Steaks
- 1 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 3tbsp Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1tbsp Louisiana Hot Sauce
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
- 3 leaves Fresh Basil
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Distilled White Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 2 tbsp Fresh Rosemary
- Salt & Pepper
- Directions:
- Chop parsley, basil, and rosemary and crush garlic. Heat water, olive oil, chicken broth, butter, Louisiana Hot Sauce and garlic in a medium saucepan. Reduce heat to simmer and parsley, basil, cumin, vinegar, paprika and rosemary. Simmer, stirring often, for 20 minutes. Pour over steaks and marinate for at least 4 hours, or during your afternoon hunt. If you really want to boost the flavor, let them marinate all day or even over night. Turn often or baste during marinating. Broil or grill steaks using left over marinade to baste. Cook to desired doneness.
